JLSP is excited to be collaborating with the Bluhm Legal Clinic in hosting this year’s Symposium, addressing the importance of clinical education through the perspective of professors, clinic alumni, and clinic clients. The program will include four panels exploring clinical education broadly, and in particular with regards to civil rights, environmental law, and criminal justice.
The Symposium will kick off with a panel featuring Judge Edmond Chang of the Northern District of Illinois; Angela Vigil, the Executive Director of the Pro Bono Practice at Baker McKenzie; and Tom Geraghty, the clinic’s founding director. The Symposium’s keynote will feature Mary Meg McCarthy, Executive Director of the National Immigrant Justice Center and will conclude with a reception.
